John Finn exhibits at Bear Steps Gallery


John has endured gradual loss of his vision (and now only has a small amount of vision in his worse eye) and has had to adapt his life constantly from qualified film maker, to an award winning animator and now an artist.

His deaf/blind journey has been a very isolating one, even within the community of deafness.

This exhibition is happening in the week of the 12th May - 25th May 2024 at the Bear Steps Gallery in Shrewsbury (in the upstairs gallery). Open from 10am-3pm daily. A bigger show is to follow in 2025.

The exhibition will show that the beautiful subtleties of John's art work as a registered deaf/ blind person can go far. It has been a hard journey but his art work is unique and beautiful, and John hopes he can be a role model for younger deaf blind generation.
